France v. Comafrica SpA and Dole Fresh Fruit Europe ltd.. & Co. case brief

This case was brought regarding the Common Agricultural Policy.

FACTS
Two banana producers brought suit in the Court of First Instance for annulment of Commission regulation 3190/93, which was a quota system on bananas.

-The lower court said it could be challenged as the regulation was a "collection of individual decisions addressed to each operator."

-The court of justice reversed, holding "the calculation system was instead a multi-step affair."
