Are you wondering "What books should I read to prepare for law school?" Look no further—you’ve found one of the best!
Success in law school is more critical than ever. With many graduates struggling with unemployment or underemployment, achieving top grades has become a necessity. But here's the hard truth: average grades won’t cut it anymore.
This is not a short e-book, but a full-length guide designed to help you own law school. It's a major revision of the original edition that has helped countless students. It packed with additional insights, strategies, and techniques that will give you the edge you need. I want this to be the best resource available, and I'm committed to helping you succeed.
Many books claim you can succeed in law school with minimal effort—some even suggest skipping class and partying your way through. The reality? That approach simply doesn’t work. Law school is a rigorous challenge, and success demands focused effort, a strategy, and a commitment to excelling.
What’s at stake?
If you’re attending a lower-ranked law school, you may have heard stories about students transferring to more prestigious schools after their first year. However, transferring isn’t a simple task. You need exceptional grades—top 5-10% in your class. If you’re hoping to rely on a “minimum-effort” approach to succeed, you’re taking a big risk with your future.
The truth about law school
The harsh reality is that most students enter law school without the right strategies in place. At least half of your classmates will never make it into the top 10-20% simply because they lack effective study methods. They believe that reading textbooks or hornbooks repeatedly will lead to success, but that’s not enough to truly excel.
Are you armed with the right methods to get the top grades? Do you know how to study for exams? Do you have a plan to outsmart your competition? The truth is, law school requires hard work, but not all work is created equal. Many students waste their time on the wrong tasks. To win at law school, you need a winning game plan.
This book outlines everything I learned to succeed. I wasn’t prepared for law school when I started—I was the first in my family to graduate from college, and I had no prior knowledge of the legal field. But I worked smart, studied relentlessly, and developed strategies that helped me excel. Now, I want to share these strategies with you.
Whether you’re a first-year student or already in your second or third year, my methods can help you improve your GPA and boost your marketability. While some argue that grades don’t matter after the first year, the truth is that employers look at your GPA when hiring. In today’s competitive job market, you need to be as marketable as possible.

Great book. I can't think of many ways to better spend $9 when it comes to doing well in law school. I will try to review this book later on, but wanted to say thank you again. I think I will see an improvement in my grades using what I am learning from it.
ReplyDeleteI am a 0L working my way through as many books as I can to flesh-out what I`ve gotten myself into for the next three years. Many of the titles I`ve read talk about "thinking like a lawyer." This book actually shows one how to tackle law school and think beyond thinking like a lawyer. I am ready now...
DeleteThank you for the ebook.
ReplyDeleteBefore my first year of law school I read a lot of books, including "Getting to Maybe" and "Law School Confidential" as well as almost every tip page on top-law-schools.com and I found this book to be the best. When I consider the price of this book, it can not be beat. This book could easily sell for twice the amount and be worth the cost. I consider it a solid buy that every serious law student should get ahold of. The advice is solid and is the kind of advice that will not only serve you well in law school, but in life.
ReplyDeleteIf you take doing well in law school (and becoming a good attorney) seriously, this book is required.
ReplyDeleteIt's so well-written that I had to force myself to put it down, and ended up reading it in just two sittings, of several hours each.
Pretty good book.
ReplyDeleteBest Law School Book On Earth. Period.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeletePowerful tips for top grades! Thanks a ton for this life changer. My grades are only going to go up up up!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this awesome book! I honestly think that the reason I got into USC and got a 3.9 GPA is because of the strategies in How to Win at Law School. I tell all my friends that they can not miss this book! It's simple and so amazing!
